Arlington Fire Crews Pull Worker From Pipe at Water Treatment Facility

ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The Arlington Fire Department pulled a man out of a pipe at a water treatment plant Monday morning.

It happened at the Pierce Birch Water Treatment Plant at 1901 Lakewood Drive near Lake Arlington.

According to the department, some called dispatch to report a man trapped inside a 54-inch pipe that had washed away.

Crews arrived on the scene and requested the help of Technical Rescue Team and Dive/Swift Water Team.

The man was eventually pulled from the pipe and taken to a local hospital.

Details about what led to the situation or the worker’s condition are unknown at this time.
