FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Fort Worth police are investigating the fatal shooting of a twelve-year-old boy.
Officers were called to Cook Children’s Medical Center after someone brought the victim to the emergency room on Monday just after 10:20 p.m.
The child later died at the hospital. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as Treyshawn Eunes.
Investigators learned the shooting happened around 10 p.m. outside a strip mall along Brentwood Stair Road just south of I-30 near East Loop 820.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting, how many people were involved or revealed information about the identity of the person who brought him to the hospital.
So far, no arrests have been made.
