AUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF) – The Electric Reliability Council of Texas is, once again, asking the public to conserve energy but for a shorter period of time.
The Conservation Appeal from ERCOT runs from 6:00pm to 9:00pm Wednesday evening.
ERCOT said in a statement that the request is due to unexpected thermal generation outages and forecasted low wind generation.
While the power grid is not in emergency operations that could change during the early evening hours.
