CHICAGO – (WBAP/KLIF) – An ICE agent is reported to have shot and killed a man reported to be attempting to drive his vehicle into several ICE agents after resisting arrest. Officials say the suspect struck an officer and dragged him as he tried to flee the scene. ICE says as the officer feared for his life, he drew his weapon and fired, killing the suspect behind the wheel.
The shooting happened in Franklin Park, about 15 miles northwest of Chicago, near O’Hare Airport.
It’s believed the alteraction erupted as ICE agents were embroiled in another arrest operation.
