
UPDATE: The FAA says a ground stop at DFW Int’l Airport is in effect through 6:45 tonight, a ground delay through 10 pm. Dallas Love Field is reporting no changes to prior traveler information.
UPDATE 5:04 PM – Delays and cancellations could provide some headaches for travelers through 9 pm tonight at Dallas Love Field, and until 10 pm at DFW International Airport. The FAA advises calling your airline for the latest information.
UPDATE 3:53 PM – As many as 750 or even more flights are expected by this delay, which is now projected to end sometime around or after 9 pm tonight.
DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – A ground delay is affecting inbound flights to DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field. Equipment failure is blamed, though no further details are available.
The FAA is putting a pause on more than 500 flights – both inbound and some outbound. Disruptions for arrivals and some outbound flights at both airports are expected through at least 5 PM but could be extended. Passengers and those meeting arriving passengers are advised to check with airlines to determine which flights are delayed.
