Measles cases in the U.S. are at their highest level since 1992, raising concerns about the nation’s measles elimination status.
A string of new cases that appear to be connected in Arizona and Utah highlights the continued emergence of measles nationwide.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as of Sept. 25, there have been 1,514 confirmed cases, including three deaths and 185 hospitalizations.
