Dr. Ben Carson, an adviser in the Department of Agriculture, told Newsmax on Thursday that America is witnessing a genuine revival of faith, a movement he said could be key to restoring unity after months of political turmoil and violence.
“No question about it,” Carson told “Newsline.” “Our founding document, the Declaration of Independence, says our rights come from our Creator. Think about that. And the reason that we rose from nothing to the pinnacle of the world in record time is because of our belief systems.
“And if we throw those away, what will happen?”
