ORLANDO – (WBAP/KLIF) – A federal judge in Orlando, Florida, orders grand jury transcripts in Florida in the Jeffrey Epstein related case to be released publicly, denied previously this year by another judge.
Judge Rodney Smith sits on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In may of 2018, President Trump nominated Smith to the seat; confirmed by the Senate in 2019 with a 78 to 18 vote. He received commission on June 14, 2019.
Smith was a judge on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Florida from 2012 to 2019.
