GARLAND (WBAP 24/7 NEWS) – A former Garland preacher has been indicted on child porn charges.
The federal indictment alleges 37 year old Derek Hutter solicited sexually explicit photos from a young girl and received the pictures in his email. He's facing one count of attempted production of child pornography and another count of receipt of child pornography.
Hutter was the youth minister at the South Garland Baptist Church when the incident occurred.
If convicted he could be sentenced from 15 to 30 years in federal prison.
