Ethan Couch to Stay in Juvenile Detention

tarco juvi court roomFORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – A judge has ruled that Ethan Couch will stay in juvenile detention until his next hearing, which is on February 19th.

That hearing will determine if Couch’s case will be transferred to the adult court system, or remain in the juvenile system.  If the case isn’t trasferred to the adult court, Couch’s record could be wiped clean when he turns 19 in April.

He returned to North Texas Thursday after police say he and his mother fled to Mexcico when he missed a probation meeting.

He was sentenced to ten years probation in 2013 when he drove drunk and killed four people in Tarrant County.
