Frisco ISD Formalizes Deal with Nike

FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) Eight varsity programs in Frisco ISD will start wearing Nike uniforms. The district formalized a 5-year deal with the brand worth nearly two million dollars, according to the Dallas Morning News. On the opening week of football season in August, the teams will also play each other in the state’s first domed high school venue, the new Dallas Cowboys practice facility. Nike will provide home and away uniforms for each football program for the 2016 season – worth as much as $30k for each team. The deal with Nike, however, does not include shoes. The district requires students to provide their own.
