American Airlines Hits More Turbulence

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – Pilots and management at American Airlines are butting heads again.

In a letter sent to executives of the Fort Worth-based carrier, the pilots union cited a number of problems and outlined conditions that it claims is bringing back a “toxic culture” between management and employees.

The allied pilots association, which backed the 2013 merger with US Airways, said it it’s tired of having to apologize to passengers.

In response, the airline asked for more time, saying it’s only two years into a five year integration process to better things for employees and passengers.
