IRVING (WBAP/KLIF News) – Guns won’t be allowed on the Irving campus of the University of Dallas.
The college said it will opt out of a state law that allows private universities to make a decision on whether to permit students, teachers and administrators to carry a weapon if they have a concealed handgun license.
Public universities and colleges in Texas must come up with a policy to provide access before the law goes into effect on Aug. 1.
