DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A non-profit organization that wants to take over Fair Park will make its pitch to the Dallas Parks and Recreation Board on Thursday morning.
The panel will listen to a presentation from the “Fair Park Texas Foundation.”
The plan would include improvements to Fair Park and surrounding neighborhoods.
In return, the city would pay the foundation several million dollars in management fees.
The Dallas Zoo has had success using a similar model.
