WBAP/KLIF – The Hunt Oil Company in Dallas is planning to layoff 10% of its workforce. The company says it’s been forced to do so by the dramatically reduced level of activity within the oil and gas industry. It did not say exactly which employees would be laid off or where the cutbacks would take place. According to the latest report, Hunt Oil and Hunt Consolidated employ a total of 4,500 people.
