Dallas Fire Department’s Urban Search and Rescue was called to the scene to assist in lowering the man from the fifth floor to the ground level.  Jason Evans said “the construction worker was awake and alert before being transported, but he was incapacitated to the point that he was not going to be able to get down by himself”.

A representative of Hoar Construction said the man works for a subcontractor and the incident is under investigation.  An update on the man’s condition was not available.
