Dallas Family Whose Child was Killed at Day Care Awarded $142M

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) A Dallas family has been awarded $142M after the death of their baby boy. Zac and Heather Lytle sued “All in the Family” day care, claiming their 7-month-old, Roger, was swaddled too tightly and suffocated. Dallas attorney Rob Crain is representing the family. Crain said the jury jumped the award from $7M to $142M to get a point across that something needs to be done to better regulate home day care centers. The facility was not insured.
