FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – The expansion of Interstate 35W in north Fort Worth has reached the halfway point.
“Drivers should start to notice more of the highway opening than closing,” said the project’s Heather DeLapp. “We do have a disclaimer, though, that we still have to demolish a lot and we have to build new ramps. There will continue to be impacts, and we ask folks to bear with us.”
The ramp from northbound 35W to Highway 121 is scheduled to stay closed for several more weeks.
North of town, drivers will notice ramps to Loop 820 changing to the other side of the highway.
