One person is dead and another three are injured as a result of a shooting in a second-floor room at the Motel 6 off 635 and Plano Road early Friday morning.
Police responded to the call at about 1:30 a.m and are interested in two suspects — one of whom is in custody, the other still at large. Authorities say the shooting was robbery-motivated and could have a tie to sex trafficking.
The three who were injured, one man and two women, were taken to a hospital and are expected to recover. Dallas Animal Services were also on the scene removing multiple dogs from the hotel.
