Two Firefighters, Three Civilians Hurt in SE Dallas Apartment Fire

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Two firefighters and three civilians were hurt in a 2-alarm apartment fire in Dallas Wednesday.

A boy, who was not responding, was removed from inside the apartment at Salona Ridge Apartments and paramedics began life-saving measures including CPR. He was rushed to a hospital. The boy’s mother and her infant son were also taken to the hospital with what was described as non-life threatening injuries.

One firefighter injured his hand and another was overcome by heat at the fire at the Solana Ridge Apartments in Southeast Dallas. Both are expected to be okay.
