Apartment Evacuated After Carbon Monoxide Leak

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A carbon monoxide leak at the Citywalk high rise on Akard in downtown Dallas forced dozens of people into the street.

Investigators believe a boiler malfunctioned in the basement of the 16-story apartment building around 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

A leak in April sent three people to the hospital.

No one was hurt this time.

The boiler was shut down and the fire department aired out the building.

People were allowed back inside around midnight.
