DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A body has been found on the edge of the Trinity River near the Turtle Creek viaduct.
The body was discovered in a pile of sticks and debris by an S-M-U Police supervisor who had been coming to the area several times a week to search for missing SMU officer Mark McCullers who was swept away in a flash flood July 5th.
The McCullers family said a shoe on the body matched one found during a search right after the officer went missing.
Dallas Police are saying there is a “High probability” the body is that of SMU Officer McCullers however identification is pending.
