FLOWER MOUND (WBAP/KLIF 24/7 News) – Flower Mound police say a weekend home invasion robbery started when a woman knocked on the front door of a home, someone inside opened the door to talk to her and three men forced their way inside.
Captain Wess Griffin says never open your front door to someone you don't know, but instead call 911.
"Let us come out and investigate. And I would tell them that you're not opening the door and if they need assistance that you call the police and we'll be there to help them."
Captain Griffin says it's not known if Sunday's home invasion is linked to similar robberies in nearby cities.
Three of the suspects are in custody but police are still searching for a fourth.
