PLANO (WBAP/KLIF) – The City of Plano saw two human cases of West Nile Virus in one day and will spray the impacted areas.
Plano reported that the Collin County Health Department confirmed a positive human case for West Nile early Wednesday.
The City will spray for mosquitoes in an area between Nantucket Drive and Whiffletree Drive as well as Leathertop Drive and Coit Road.
Then, the health department confirmed a second case Wednesday afternoon to Plano and the City will spray another area.
The city plans to look at Northrooke Drive to Finwick Lane and Templin Way to Weatherby Lane.
Crews will begin spraying in those areas Thursday at 9:00pm.
