MANSFIELD (WBAP/KLIF News) – Three students in Mansfield overdosed on Xanax while at school on Tuesday, according to school officials.
Teachers at Summit High School noticed the teenage girls were acting strangely in class and called an assistant principal.
The students were taken to a nearby hospital. The girls are expected to recover.
Classmates said the girls appeared to be “woozy.”
Police are investigating and trying to determine how the students got the prescription medication.
