MESQUITE (WBAP/KLIF News) – A new weather radar will soon be online in Mesquite.
The CASA system shows details of storms other radars don’t, which Garland Mayor Douglas Athas says could help prevent deaths like the December 26th tornadoes caused.
The potential for destructive storms is something we face all the time. This will give us that additional time and information about bad storms coming
The Mesquite CASA radar is the seventh like it around North Texas.
