WEATHERFORD (WBAP/KLIF) – A student at Tison Jr. High in Weatherford was arrested Thursday afternoon after police say he threatened the school.
Police were contacted by a school resource officer about the incident. Lieutenant Chris Crawford says after speaking with the student involved and corroborating statements provided by other students, the 12 year-old was taken into custody.
Crawford would not be specific about the threats, but said they were serious enough that the juvenile was charged with making a terroristic threat. The charge is a 3rd degree felony.
