GRAPEVINE (WBAP/KLIF News) – Oncor said lightening may have caused a power line to come down on Highway 121 near DFW Airport.
The highway was shut down in both directions as the evening rush hour was getting underway on Tuesday.
The closure lasted about five hours.
A grass fire sparked by the live wires only added to the traffic disruption.
Some businesses in the area closed early due to a power outage during repairs.
