LUBBOCK (WBAP/KLIF News) – An American Airlines flight en route to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport had to be diverted to Lubbock Thursday morning due to a disruptive passenger.
Authorities said the passenger on Flight 2542 from Ontario, California was banging on the cockpit door. It took several people to subdue the person.
The passenger was removed from the plane after it landed in Lubbock.
The flight is expected to arrive in Dallas around 7:00 a.m.
