Fronton (WBAP/KLIF) – A Texas state trooper has been wounded on the Texas side of the Texas-Mexico border by a bullet apparently fired on the Mexican side. The trooper was hit in the leg by what appears to have been a stray bullet fired during a gun battle in Mexico. U.S.. authorities say it’s unclear whether the gunfight involved the Mexican military or state police.
