AUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF News) – Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick will announce the filing of the Privacy Protection Act in Austin on Thursday afternoon.
Senate Bill 6 would require transgender people use the bathroom that matches the gender on their birth certificate.
If the bill passes, Texas could join North Carolina and Indiana, which have similar laws in place.
