North Richland Hills (WBAP/KLIF) – North Richland Hills Police are looking for a red haired man who may have tried to kidnap a 13 year old boy who was on his way to school Thursday morning. The boy was riding his bicycle along Hightower Drive near Foster Village Elementary School when the driver of a grey Nissan Titan pickup truck pulled alongside, and asked him if he wanted a ride. When the boy said “no,” the man got out of the truck, and approached him. So the boy grabbed his cellphone, and tried to take a picture. When he did that, the suspect jumped back into his truck and sped away. He’s described as a stocky, white male in his 30’s. He has red hair and a red goatee, and three visible round marks on his left cheek.
The boy has given the North Richland Hills Police the best picture he could take of the suspect’s truck as drove away.
