FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – Police in Fort Worth are getting a $450,000 donation of active shooter kits.
The kits include life-saving ballistic vests and equipment.
The department will receive 450 kits worth a $1,000 each from Shield 616, a Colorado nonprofit that provides support to law enforcement agencies nationwide.
Assistant Police Chief Ed Kraus said the department will receive kits at a seminar on Nov. 15.
