(WBAP/KLIF News) Americans potentially penalized because of “Obamacare” may get a reprieve. Only 6 of the original 23 co-ops initiated by the Affordable Healthcare Act are still up and running. All others went bankrupt, leaving many people vulnerable to a penalty due to lack of coverage. Representative Pete Sessions, from Dallas, says the “Co-op Consumer Protection Act” will protect individuals whose co-ops went under from getting fined $2k by the government.
