San Antonio (WBAP/KLIF) – The Department of Homeland Security has released from federal custody ten year old Rosa Maria Hernandez. She’s in the country illegally, brought here as a baby by her mother. She was apprehended by the Border Patrol ten days ago while being taken in an ambulance to a Corpus Christi hospital for emergency surgery. Homeland Security has been holding her in a San Antonio facility while trying to decide what to do with her. It decided Friday afternoon to return her to her mother in Laredo.
