Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – Harrowing moments for Fort Worth family last night when police say a burglary suspect busted through their front door.
The homeowner fatally shot the intruder who had entered his Camp Bowie Boulevard home around seven o’clock last evening, as he and his wife were readying their 3 children for bed.
Police say the dad grabbed his rifle and called 911. He fatally shot the suspect after a scuffle and was subsequently treated for a stab wound from the intruder who was armed with a knife. He is expected to recover.
Police have not released the name of the suspect, nor the identity of the homeowner.
