DENTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – A woman, who declined to be identified, has been reunited with thousands of dollars that she deposited into her online suitor’s bank account.
The Denton County Sheriff’s Department said the scammer charmed the money from the woman but but a quick acting Denton County deputy was able to track down the would be thief’s account and freeze the funds before the transaction was complete.
The department issued a tweet congratulating the deputy.
