Frisco, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Frisco could be shelling out some 52-million dollars to buy land that would be used to develop a huge city park.
Now, just how huge will the park be?
Officials say if developed, it would be bigger than Dallas’ Fair Park, and would include an array of sports fields, in hopes of attracting major youth sporting events.
The Dallas Business Journal says Frisco is trying to brand itself as the premiere North Texas destination to raise a young athlete.
Officials could close on the land at the Northwest corner of Eldorado Parkway and Preston road by early next month.
