DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – North Texans are enjoying an early summer draft in the midst of 100 degree temperatures.
The NHL Draft is being held at the American Airlines Center Friday and Saturday. Hockey fans are invited to enjoy authentic, local, Texas pit BBQ , photos with the Stanley Cup, Hockey Hall of Fame display, autograph sessions, interactive hockey games, a mechanical bull, and live longhorn photos outside of the arena.
The Stars will make the 13th pick in this year’s draft Friday night. Hockey fans from all over the world are expected to participate in the festivities before going inside to watch their favorite young players make the jump to the pro’s.
