Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) Due to all the wet weather we’ve had State Fair of Texas leaders have decided to extend hours for closing weekend on Saturday and Sunday. The fair will now be open until 11:00pm both days this weekend and the Midway may stay open later if fairgoers are still enjoying the rides, games and concessions. The extended hours are a direct result of the fair shutting down early on Monday and Tuesday because of the rain. Sunday is the final day to attend the fair.
