DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Dallas Animal Services is now posting a daily data report on Facebook to show the shelter’s limited capacity, the number of intakes and the outcomes of the shelter from the previous day.
Deputy Chief Rob Sherwin said it’s an effort to regain the public’s trust.
Back in September, the City of Dallas placed Sherwin and another officer in charge of the struggling department due to numerous complaints about loose dogs in south Dallas.
One woman was mauled to death by a pack in May.
