(WBAP/KLIF) – “Affluenza teen” Ethan Couch is now free of his ankle monitor.
The monitor was equipped with a GPS system and would notify police if couch was away from his home after 9 pm.
Couch made national news after receiving a 10 year probation sentence for killing four people and paralyzing another, in a 2013 drunk driving crash.
A defense psychologist coined the term ”affluenza,” claiming the families wealth made Couch unable to comprehend the consequences of a wrong decision.
