Dozens have been displaced by a large apartment fire

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dozens of residents were burned out of house and home early Sunday morning by a four alarm fire at the Mandalay Palms Apartments in south Dallas near the intersection of I-20 and Highway 67. It took 70 firefighters to control the flames, and several residents were injured jumping from balconies of the three story building when the fire blocked their normal escape routes. The building is now uninhabitable. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
