HOUSTON- WBAP/KLIF – Houston Police indicate the arrest of Darion Vence, the step father of the four year old little girl he reported missing following a carjacking in the Houston area about one week ago. Vence was reported arrested at the Sugar Land home of his brother.
4 year old Maleah Davis has been missing since he is reported to have said carjacking suspects took the little girl, recovering from brain surgery. Vence is now charged with evidence tampering, in particular, tampering with a corpse, although the body of the missing girl has not materialized.
Authorities indicate a neighbor of Vence took video of him leaving the house with bottles of Clorox bleach and garbage bags or a bag inside a laundry basket before he reported the little girl missing.
The mother of Maleah last week made statements indicating she believed Vence, a former fiance, had injured Maleah.
