(WBAP/KLIF) – Texas based Whataburger has been sold to a Chicago company.
The family owned business, which first set up show in Corpus Christi 68 years ago, has now sold a majority of the company to BDT Capital Partners. A bank which specializes in the purchasing of family owned businesses. The headquarters will remain in San Antonio and a majority of the companies leadership will stay, as well.
There are currently 828 Whataburger’s across 10 states.
