DENTON (WBAP/KLIF)- Denton Sheriff’s Deputies made two arrests for the murder of a woman whose body was found near Denton Creek.
Teens fishing near the creek found 20-year-old Jade Harris’ body earlier this month.
Denton Sheriff Tracy Murphree said they arrested 21-year-old Tanner Brock, Harris’ ex
boyfriend and his new girlfriend 27-year-old Kyrstin Ross. “It appears to be a domestic sit
uation…Brock has a history of assaulting women and of course we were looking at him and what he was doing at that time. Through multiple interviews and forensic evidence we were able to arrest both individuals for murder,” Murphree said.
Murphree said her body was found with multiple stab wounds.
Harris leaves behind a husband and two children.
