TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Senator John Cornyn won his party’s Senate primary Tuesday, defeating his closest opponent by double digits.
Following his win Cornyn told supporters “the stage has been set and this is a race not just between political parties, but a race for who we are as a state.”
Cornyn’s democratic challenger will be decided during a May 26th runoff election.
