Cherokee County, Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – An Amber Alert has been issued out of Cherokee County, about 128 miles southeast of Dallas for 10-year old Ashlynn wells, white, female, 5’ 2”,
109 lbs, blonde hair, blue eyes. she was last seen wearing peach t-shirt, peach shorts, gray/pink nike shoes. has dimples, scar on right ring finger, and black birthmark on left thigh.
And 11-year old Desmond WellsiIII, white, male, 5’ 5”, 154 lbs, blonde hair, brown eyes, and last seen wearing blue/black t-shirt, gray shorts, wolverine hiking boots. has scar on left shin.
Police are looking for Jesse Ray Schmidt, a 32-year old white, male in connection with their abduction.
ray is 5’10”, 160 lbs, brown hair, hazel eyes. he is driving a black, 2012 Honda Civic with a Texas, license plate number of BNX-6155.
Law enforcement officials believe these children to be in grave or immediate danger.
