Grayson County (WBAP/KLIF) – A Grayson County Sheriff’s office investigator died last night after chasing a suspects who ran off during a traffic stop.
The office says that round 7PM the suspects were pulled over near Park Place and McGee in Sherman, and that during the chase and physical altercation, one of the officers involved collapsed and died. It is believed that he had a heart attack.
Deputies from Grayson and Dallas Counties and officers from the DPD escorted the body of their fallen comrade to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The fallen officers had been with the Grayson County Sheriff’s office for over 20 years.
