(WBAP/KLIF) Southlake – A Fire at a chemical facility in the Northwest part of Southlake is under investigation. Authorities are monitoring the runoff water to determine what chemicals may have been involved.
The fire was at the DalDen Corporation plant on 4285 T.W. King Road. It was called in just after 1pm Wednesday. The facility is a bottle filling and chemical blending facility
Assistant Fire Chief Jeremy Wilson said some nearby homes had been evacuated as a precaution. It took firefighters over an hour to contain the blaze. No injuries have been reported.
